Planning
These are my first sketches of my website, they include the home page, a menu down the side and differnt pages that are all connected.
This is the home page, it has a section welcoming people to the website as the client is very friendly and they always want to make a good impresstion. underneath that there is a link to the social medias connected to the comic as all thr creators are very active on social media and its a great way to communate to the audience.
this page is the comic page and it simply has two buttons, one saying start from the beggining of the comics or from the last page, im thinking about adding a bit so you can chose though the issues of what one you want to read next.
This is what it would look like once you chose what comic page you want to see, its a very simple page, it just says comic at the top, has the menu down the side then has the comic page, im planning on having it so you an click on the sides of the page to flip to the next page.
This is the about page, it has a small social media box at the top then a big bit written about the comic, when it started and all little details.
This page it about the cretors or the team, each will have a section about them with a link to one or more of their social medias, an illistation or picture of them and a small bio about them.
This is a small story that was written that is linked to the comic that the client would like to include, it is included by just a link right now and i think i will probably keep it the same but also include a small section as to what it is.
target user/audience
who is the actual customer of my page?
the demographic of my website is:
15-20 year olds
any gender
mostly white
with no income and no job
geographical statistics, census
detailed target audience
17, no job and still in college, white and has lots of spare time and a passion for comics.
I looked at census's so I can see what my target audience would be.
my target audience would be in Norwich as thats where most of the creators live.
92% of people in Norwich are white and english so my ta would be aswell more than likely.
9.1% of people in Norwich are unemployed so its more likely my ta would be.
51% of peopler in Norwich are females so they would most likely be.
5.5% of people in Norwich are 15-19 so my person would be.
This is the ages and demographic that would most likely visit my website.
This has not effected my original thoughts accept now I think the ages are 15-19 and not 16-20.
to appeal to my user I have used bright colours and fun fonts so they like it aesthetic, then I've made it simple to use so people are happy using it and they want to visit it again.
for the making of the website i had to meet my client and get a list of things they wanted on the website so i could make sure to have it just how they want.
they said they wanted a prose on it and for the colours to be sunset themed. I have made sure to plan in all the things they wanted so it is suitable for their needs.
